AmeriNZ 88 - Seeing again for the first time

Right click to download this episode or go to the page here. Shownotes, links and comments are at my main blog.

It’s now five days since I had my LASIK eye surgery, and today I tell you about that and why it was such a big deal for me. The whole thing wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting, and it all turned out well. I tell you about the day, the immediate aftermath and what the situation is so far.

Comments then give me the chance to talk a bit more about my impending feed change, which is moving closer. I’m planning a special episode later this month—more details to follow.

Shownotes and comments on my blog, www.amerinz.com, or you can send an email to me at arthur{at)amerinz.com, or ring my US listener line on 206-339-8413.

Jennie Laws

Recently I spoke with Toronto-born vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Jeannie Laws, about her new EP, Introducing Jennie Laws, which hits stores today, May 13th (You can buy it now on eMusic.com, however the actual CD has one extra song). We also spoke about Canadian audiences vs. U.S. audiences, the "Professor Laws" section on her website, and her work as a songwriter/arranger for other artists. This disc is personally recommended for lovers of Amel Larrieux, Deniece Williams, and Van Hunt. Between our talk, enjoy audio snippets of the tracks, "Space", "Heavenly", and "So Deep", from the EP.
