Recently Kenny Proffitt (also known as "Kenny, the Listener Who Knew Me When") came to visit me here in Bay City. It was the first time we had seen each other since he was graduated from high school in 1986.

Before Kenny arrived, we agreed to do another of the "David's Salon" shows together. What I didn't know was that Kenny was also going to gift me with his well-loved Mac Mini. Finally, I have joined the ranks of the Mac Podcasters! Oh, and did I mention I have a new Peavey 6-channel USB mixer, too? Yeah, and a second Shure microphone. I'm blessed, for sure!

With my new "toy" put together, Kenny and I settled down over some adult beverages to discuss politics, religion, energy policy...you know, the light and airy stuff.
