Local Gay Podcast Hits 100th Show

A Shanty No Lemon, Columbus Ohio’s Premier Gay Podcast celebrates 100th show this coming December 7th.

COLUMBUS, OH – Nov. 14, 2007 – A Shanty No Lemon, a local Gay Podcast began broadcast in June 2005. The show, featuring the lives of four individuals and their friends has become a groundbreaking achievement of entertainment.

After producing numerous successful shows during 2006 and 2007, A Shanty No Lemon was featured in local newspapers including Outlook Weekly and Columbus Alive.

“We are thrilled to have reached our 100th show. It has been a lot of hard work and we’ve received a lot of love from the gay community. Honestly, I am amazed that we’ve made it this far,” says Anthony Anselmo, Executive Producer of the podcast.

The show is also syndicated on QNation.fm, one the world’s premier gay streaming networks! The A Shanty No Lemon crew was also recently featured in the Stonewall Columbus Pride Parade.

“The pride parade was an amazing experience! The reception we received from parade goers was fantastic,” says Tim Martin, a show host.
Even after 100 episodes, show regulars Tim, Marc, Anthony and token straight-friend Patrick show no signs of stopping. The hosts’ weekly adventures receive critical acclaim for whitty banter, comic skits, local political news, and wacky gags/stunts.

“I never expected to be podcasting this long… Yet here we are, 2 years later,” says Anthony.

“Our staying power is due in no small part to eclectic mix of personalities that come together each week! Regular listeners call us fresh and relevant; new listeners think we’re insane,” he continues.
