Queer Podcast Community

Hi everyone, I'm very new to podcasting, I've just recently created a little podcast that's basically my audioblog,so it's not really a 'show' or anything, so I was just curious if there was any suggestions any of you could give to make it maybe, a little more accessible for people who aren't already my friends, since one of the reasons I started it was to meet new people.

I don't really intend on making it much more then sort of an audio blog for myself, but I know some podcasters who do the same thing, but still seem to be very accessible to others, such as Twinkleboi. Also keep in mind that I'm not trying to imitate him, I'm just using him as an example, I have the know-how when it comes to audio editing, I'm just pretty clueless when it comes to getting a decent formula for a podcast. So if anyone could give me any suggestions to maybe make things more interesting or fun, please feel free to share.

Here are some of my "tried and true" ways:

List your podcast on as many of the podcast directories that you can.

Post your show notes for each episode on this blog.

When you have the setup to do interviews, consider inviting another podcaster on your show for an interview.

Get listed on iTunes and Zune ASAP, then invite people to do a review.

This should give you some seed thoughts. Best wishes!

Stay Powerful!
